How to merge PDF files into one (free, no software)

Merging PDFs is the easiest way to send one tidy file instead of five attachments. You do not need Acrobat or any app — a browser is enough. Here is the quickest way to combine PDF files and keep them in the right order.

Steps

  1. Open Merge PDF. Go to the Merge PDF tool. No account is needed.
  2. Add your files. Select up to 20 PDFs, each up to 50 MB. You can add more after the first selection.
  3. Arrange the order. Drag the files up or down. The order in the list becomes the page order of the result.
  4. Merge and download. Click Merge, then download the single combined PDF.

Good to know

  • Pages are copied as they are — text stays selectable and images are not re-compressed.
  • A password-protected PDF must be unlocked first with Unlock PDF.
  • If the merged file is too big to email, run it through Compress PDF.
