How to remove a password from a PDF

If you are tired of typing a password every time you open a PDF, you can save an unprotected copy. Unlock PDF does this, but it needs the current password. It cannot guess or recover a forgotten one.

Steps

  1. Open Unlock PDF. Upload the password-protected PDF.
  2. Enter the current password. Type the password the file asks for when you open it.
  3. Unlock. Start the job. The file is decrypted and saved as a new copy.
  4. Download the copy. The new PDF opens without a password. Your original stays protected.
